| Notes | I have found references to over 50 births or baptisms of an Archibald
CAMPBELL in Perthshire between 1740 and 1777, making it almost impossible to
work out which is his, and who his parents were. He lived in Lorgan, Fortingall, PER in 1792, working as a labourer; and in Keillar, Fowlis Wester, PER in 1806. At the marriage of his daughter Ann in 1828 he was described as "the late Archibald Campbell, Farmer in the parish of Monzie" [PER]. |
